Recovery Services

IVRS provides secondary prevention services to individuals in recovery from substance abuse through its Community-Based Recovery Service Centers located in Upland and San Bernardino. The Recovery Centers provide secondary prevention activities and a community forum for persons in recovery. Our purpose is to foster peer support in a drug and alcohol free environment and serve as a source of information and referral for a myriad of recovery resources. Recovery Services could include aftercare, relapse prevention, job development, crisis counseling, case management, and peer support.

Alumni Association

The Alumni Association provides the ongoing social support essential for successful recovery. The association coordinates volunteer services and hosts several special social events. Alumni volunteers give generously of their time in order to provide a forum for continuing interaction between IVRS and its program.

In addition, alumni volunteers provide program support, serve as role models to newer clients, and participate in aftercare groups. Membership is open to anyone who has completed a treatment program or has a genuine interest in the mission of the agency.

For more information on joining the alumni association please contact the administrative office at (909) 932-1069.

Parenting classes are held at both IVRS outpatient recovery centers. Enrollment cost is minimal to cover the cost of parent workbook. Call for a schedule of classes or information about enrollment fees. Anyone facing challenges with parenting a child is eligible to attend the classes.
